3 Questions asked on BOSCH DS150i Series Request-to-exit Detectors

Q Adam Levenson • 08/25/2023, 6:07:22 AM Will it work with a standard mag lock system? I want to remove the "push to exit" buttons and replace with these detectors... Could they be wired in the same as the button or keypad?
A 08/25/2023, 11:27:27 AM Yes, these Bosch Motion sensors can be used to cut power directly to a magnetic lock for egress purposes. Typically you would run power "in-series" through one of the SPDT relay contacts on this sensor direct to the lock, when the sensor activates the relay would break the flow of power allowing the magnet to release.
