Controllers

micro-controllers for delayed egress are specialized security devices designed to lock an exit door securely while ensuring safe egress during an emergency. these units, including timers, annunciators, and digital keypads, delay the opening of a door for a set period to deter theft or unauthorized exits, while integrating with fire alarms for immediate release during true emergencies. common areas of use;

• retail stores: preventing shoplifting by delaying the opening of emergency exits, allowing staff time to respond to the alarm.
• healthcare facilities and memory care: keeping patients safe by preventing them from wandering out of the building unsupervised.
• schools and childcare centers: securing perimeter doors to prevent children from leaving the premises while still complying with fire safety codes.
• airports and transit hubs: controlling access to secure areas and preventing unauthorized individuals from bypassing security checkpoints.
• warehouses and distribution centers: deterring employee theft out of back doors and emergency exits by triggering an alarm and a time delay.
• museums and galleries: protecting valuable artifacts by delaying exit and alerting security if someone attempts to flee through an emergency door.
