I'd like to install a maglock on my front door to be able to buzz clients in to my home for sessions during the daytime. I'm interested in a SDC 180-280 SURFACE MOUNT BOLT LOCK. This would just be for daytime use. I'll use the existing deadbolt on the door for security during nighttimes and other times when I am not expecting clients at my Pilates studio. Can I get by with the PS24-2 or do I need the 12VDC Access Control Power Supply MC-1, MC-2? I live in NYC where we don't really have power outages.
