The Scan II™ is a Passive Infrared Detector specifically designed for request to exit applications. It has an adjustable relay latch time, is internally pointable, and provides two Form sets of relay contacts.

Is the Scan II motion sensor by Schlage suitable for outdoor use? i.e. is the device weather resistant?

No, per the manufactures datasheet "intended for indoor use only". For a weatherized motion sensor please see the Hawk2 or give us a call at 1-866-500-5625
