Complete Two Door Private Restroom Electric Strike Buzz-in kit
Specifically designed to control access to Private Restrooms, we have put together this electric strike kit to allow for independent remote unlocking for up to 2-doors. These electric strikes are designed to work alongside your existing Mechanical Single Latch Door Knobs/Levers*
*STOREROOM Function locksets recommended. New Mechanical Locksets available for purchase from Maglocks.com (RL12SR locksets sold separately below)
System Operation
Kit can be used on Multi-Stall or Single-Occupancy Restroom Layouts*
During normal operation all Electric Strikes would remain in the "locked" position. Mechanical locksets should be configured to be always "locked" on the outside and always "unlocked" on the inside. Using the included 2-Button Wireless Transmitters, pressing a button would send power to the Electric Strike allowing for a 3-second "unlock" buzz-in. After the 3-seconds has expired the Electric Strike would return to the normal "locked" position. From the inside of the restroom the mechanical door knob/lever must remain in the "unlocked" position to allow for free-exit at all times.
*Privacy DeadBolts recommended when system is installed on Single-Occupancy bathrooms. (Privacy Deadbolts sold separately below)
