Fully sealed electronics makes this a great choice for doors and gates exposed to harsh weather conditions or wet environments.

I would like to use this for an exterior bike storage with double doors. If power is unintentionally cut, will the locks disengage? It says "fail safe" but I'm not sure if that's what it means. I just want to make sure that if we lose power that the locks will stay locked. That they will disengage only if specifically switched.

The DM62 magnetic lock is "fail-safe" which means that if the lock loses power for any reason it would fail in the unlocked or safe position. To prevent a security issue in the event of a power outage we would recommend using a power supply with battery backup.
