Product Overview

Complete Two Door Public Restroom Magnetic Lock Kit with Timer

Specificially designed for Public Restrooms in mind we have put together this complete magnetic lock kit that includes everything you need to add automatic locks to your bathrooms. Using the included programmable timer, automatic unlock/lock times can be set for each day of the week, the timer also has a manual override button to put the system in a permanent locked or unlocked state.

Exit devices are also included to ensure people are never trapped inside the bathrooms when the system goes into the locked state. A motion sensor and exit button for each bathroom is included to allow for safe egress and are required by most local buidling and fire codes.

System Operation

Kit can be used on Multi-Stall or Single-Occupancy Restroom Layouts*

Using the included digital timer the administrator will program "locked/unlocked" reoccurring time schedules for various days of the week.

During normal hours of operation the maglocks would be in the "unlocked" position to allow unrestricted entry and exit.  

After-hours, the timer will switch the state of the maglocks to the "locked" position, restricting entry into the restroom.  Anyone who is still inside the restroom when the system goes into the "locked" position will be able to exit using the included exit motion sensor or exit button.  Upon activation of the exit motion sensor or exit button, power will be cut to the maglock for a few seconds, allowing the person to exit before returning the maglock to the "locked" position.

A manual override button is located on the digital timer to allow for after-hours bypass or to hold the system in a permanent "locked/unlocked" state.

 *B571 Privacy DeadBolt reccomended when system is installed on Single-Occupancy bathrooms.  (B571 sold separately below)
