Detex EAX-300 Battery Powered Door Propped Alarm Station
The Detex EAX-300 Series is designed for applications where doors may be used for egress or ingress, but may not be held or propped open. Door open times from 1 second to 4 minutes (15 second default) are field selectable.
The smaller size makes installation quick and easy.

What is the Mortise Cylinder used for and/or why is it needed?

The Mortise Cylinder is required to Arm/Disarm the EAX-300 unit. Turning the key counter-clockwise to "arm" and clockwise to "disarm". For further assistance with this product feel free to give us a call at 1-866-500-5625
